Job Summary
Hands of Hope Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide comprehensive mental health services within our clinical setting. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, conduct comprehensive diagnostic and individualized assessments, and develop person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of diverse client populations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding standards.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Deliver specialized counseling services for populations including children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, and those experiencing PTSD or grief.
- Manage case documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records and notes using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and facilitate referrals as needed.
- Engage in clinical research activities or data collection projects aimed at improving treatment outcomes.
- Participate in telehealth sessions to expand access to mental health services remotely.
- Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and ICD coding updates to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Requirements
- Valid Louisiana licensure as a Mental Health Professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PLC, LMSW, CSW, and R-CSW).
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, crisis management, addiction counseling, behavioral therapy, and social work.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation standards, medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults with disabilities or chronic conditions such as autism or Geriatrics.
- Proficiency in clinical counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing, grief counseling, psychopharmacology coordination (if applicable), and gender issues counseling.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient engagement tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and with patients from varied backgrounds. This position is integral to providing high-quality mental health care that addresses the unique needs of each individual while fostering a supportive environment for recovery and growth.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
