Licensed Mental Health Therapist

This job will be a mixture of remote (if wanted) and in person (min 2-3 days per week).

Overview:

Duties:
- Conduct therapy sessions with individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support during times of emotional distress
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as art therapy, dance therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing mental health conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and coding
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health counseling

Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in mental health counseling
- Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma or PTSD
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Familiarity with art therapy or dance therapy techniques is a plus
- Crisis intervention skills to effectively manage high-stress situations
