Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families facing mental health challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a supportive environment where clients can achieve their mental health goals. The Mental Health Therapist will work collaboratively with patients and colleagues focusing the majority of their work on couples and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis management support and interventions as needed to ensure client safety.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including coding and adherence to medical terminology standards.
• Collaborate with other internal and external healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Educate clients about coping strategies, resources, and support systems available to them.

Skills

• Must have 4+ years post license clinical experience
• Experience in providing systems based couples, family, and substance use treatment.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client motivation and commitment to treatment.
• Ability to supervise students and/or provisionally licensed providers
• Superior documentation and treatment plan development skills.
• Competence in individual, couples, family, and group counseling methods that address diverse client needs and backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
