We are seeking an experienced Interdisciplinary Treatment Team Therapist (IDT) who is passionate about mental health and substance use treatment and ready to play a key role in coordinated, client centered care.
Compensation: Up to $85,000 annually, depending on your experience.
Schedule: This is a hybrid position. The therapist works half of the day onsite facilitating group sessions and participating in clinical staffings, and the remaining half of the day remotely via telehealth providing individual therapy sessions.
About the Role
The IDT Therapist serves as a core clinical leader within our treatment program, working closely with medical providers, nursing, case management, and clinical staff to ensure integrated, high quality care for clients across levels of treatment, including detox services.
What You Will Do
Direct Clinical Care:
- Provide individual therapy via telehealth addressing mental health and substance use disorders
- Facilitate onsite group therapy focused on stabilization, recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention
- Support clients through detox and early recovery phases using evidence based interventions
- Respond to clinical needs, crises, and changes in client presentation
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical staffings
- Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and clinical staff to coordinate care
- Provide clinical insight to support treatment planning and level of care decisions
- Advocate for ethical, client centered treatment
Assessment and Treatment Planning
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Monitor and document client progress across treatment episodes
- Adjust treatment approaches based on clinical need and team input
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans, case reviews, and discharge documentation
- Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Maintain an organized caseload that meets all clinical and compliance expectations
Professional Practice
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Demonstrate cultural humility and respect for diverse populations
- Provide clinical oversight consistent with supervision credentials
- Seek consultation and collaboration as needed
- Complete required trainings, background checks, and compliance requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Required Education and Licensure
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Active and unencumbered Arizona LCSW
- Clinical Experience
- Experience working with mental health and substance use disorder populations
- Experience providing both group therapy and individual therapy
- Previous experience in a detox or residential treatment setting strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning skills
- Comfort working with electronic medical record systems and telehealth platforms
