Licensed Outpatient Mental Health Counselor/Therapist-Remote

Darin King Counseling is a growing Pennsylvania-based telehealth counseling practice providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals and couples across the state.

We are currently seeking a licensed mental health therapist with experience or strong interest in couples/relationship counseling to join our fully remote team as a 1099 independent contractor.

This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working with couples, value flexibility, and are able to offer evening and/or weekend availability, when client demand is highest.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual and couples therapy via secure telehealth platform
• Support clients with relationship concerns such as communication, conflict, trust, and emotional connection
• Maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
• Work with a diverse adult and/or adolescent population
• Use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches aligned with your training
• Collaborate as needed with a supportive clinical team

What We’re Specifically Looking For

• Experience or strong interest in couples/relationship counseling
• Ability to offer evening (after 4pm) and/or weekend availability
• Comfort working with common relationship dynamics (communication issues, infidelity recovery, premarital counseling, etc.)
• Bonus (not required): Training or experience in modalities such as Gottman Method, EFT, or other couples-based approaches

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license (LPC, LCSW, LSW, or LAPC)
• Ability to provide telehealth services to PA residents
• Professional liability insurance
• Reliable internet and private workspace
• Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor
