Qualifications

• Full understanding of insurance mix and billing is a plus, but willing to train
• Degree for Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Valid and active State of Michigan Physical Therapy license
• Current CPR certification
• Outpatient Physical Therapy experience

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy methods including, but not limited to: Hydrotherapy, Alter G (Anti-gravity treadmill), Graston technique, and more
• Reviews referring medical information prior to initial assessment
• Evaluates patient status using accepted standards of practice
• Consults with other professionals to develop an interdisciplinary treatment plan when indicated, outlining patient goals and objectives
• Reviews patient progress and updates the treatment plan as required by the insurance and state Law
• Implements the treatment plan and renders direct services
• Completes required treatment and billing documentation on a timely basis
• Provides training and education to family members of the patient
• Directs and supervises the physical therapy services including supporting personnel
• Fosters and maintains effective professional relationships with other therapists, patients and family members.
