Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Position Details

• Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Job Type: Part-Time to Full Time (approximately 35 hours per week)
• Pay: $32–$38 per hour (based on experience)
• Setting: Outpatient / Orthopedic / Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Implement and progress treatment plans and therapeutic exercises
• Assist patients with rehabilitation, mobility training, and strengthening programs
• Monitor patient progress and document in EMR/EHR systems
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (required)
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and therapeutic modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in outpatient, sports medicine, or rehabilitation preferred (but not required)
