Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant - PRN

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. In this vital role, you will support the delivery of boutique, concierge exceptional patient care at their home or office. Your expertise will help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through tailored physiotherapy interventions. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working alongside a passionate healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized care plans for adult patients, including geriatrics.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques and modalities to promote healing and functional recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately in medical records.
  • Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention strategies, and post-discharge care plans.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards during all treatment activities.
  • Stay current with physiotherapy best practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy updates to provide high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
  • Proven experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facility, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and various physiotherapy techniques.
  • Experience with treatment plan execution for orthopedics and geriatrics care patients.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate and educate individuals of all ages.
  • Ability to work independently in a PRN capacity while maintaining high standards of professionalism and clinical excellence.
