Job Overview

Phoenix Physical Therapy & Wellness Inc. is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient clinic team. We provide patient-focused care to help individuals restore movement, reduce pain, and improve function.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in administering treatment plans tailored to each patient’s rehabilitation goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and hands-on interventions as directed.
• Instruct and educate patients on home exercise programs and strategies to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy sessions accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with the therapy team as needed.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe treatment area at all times.
• Comply with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.
• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Bilingual – Spanish/English preferred to better serve our diverse patient population.
