Job Description:
Summary:
The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant shall be responsible to implement patient treatment plans as outlined by the Physical Therapist. The PTA will further adjust the program within constraints and confer with the team members. This individual shall document treatment, progress, and make suggestions toward further treatment. The PTA will adapt treatment program to patient ability and current status. The PTA will work in conjunction with other team professionals to provide patient care, provide education for patients and their families, and assist with discharge planning. The PTA will also carry out other departmental duties as required.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Licenses and Certifications:
Current and valid LPTA license in appropriate state
AHA BLS required
