Licensed Plumbing Director

Allied Water Services is seeking a highly experienced, licensed plumber to build, lead, and fully own our plumbing division. This is not a technician role, this is a leadership position responsible for compliance, permitting, team development, and operational performance. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and are expected to run this division as if it were your own business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the licensed plumber for the company (permits, inspections, compliance)
• Maintain full responsibility for code compliance and quality control on all plumbing work
• Build, hire, train, and lead a team of plumbers and apprentices
• Establish and enforce SOPs, safety standards, and best practices
• Oversee all permitting processes, inspections, and jurisdictional requirements
• Manage job costing, pricing strategies, and profitability of the division
• Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy, but operate independently day-to-day
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds local and state plumbing codes
• Act as the final authority on all plumbing-related decisions

Qualifications:

• Active plumbing license in the State of Illinois
• Proven experience leading a plumbing team or running a plumbing business/division
• Deep knowledge of local codes, permitting, and inspection processes
• Strong leadership, hiring, and training ability
• Business-minded: understands margins, pricing, and operational efficiency
• High integrity and accountability

Compensation & Structure:

• Premium base salary 100-120k
• Performance-based bonuses tied to division profitability and growth
