Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR).
- Administer injections accurately following prescribed protocols.
- Assist with medical procedures with sterile processing techniques while maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patients’ conditions closely and escalating concerns to physicians or advanced practitioners as needed.
- Support discharge planning and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions.
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ICD coding standards like ICD-9 and ICD-10 for accurate billing and reporting.
- Collaborate with physicians providing essential support in specialty areas.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current certification to practice.
- 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Competency in medication administration including injections.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessment accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds—including those with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.

- Tuesday: 7:00-1:00
- Wednesday: 7:00-4:00
- Thursday: 7:00-4:00
- Friday: 7:00-1:00
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
