<Responsibilities>

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations.
• Administer medications and injections accurately.
• Document all medical records thoroughly using electronic health record (EHR) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations.
• Engage in patient education on health coaching topics such as nutrition, medication management, pain control, and chronic disease management.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like suturing and venipuncture while adhering to infection control protocols.

<Experience>

• Experience working in the nursing field, office nursing experience a plus.
• Prior use of EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in medical-surgical nursing practices along with familiarity in ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate diagnosis documentation.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to perform thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
• Working knowledge of infection control practices and sterile processing techniques to ensure patient safety at all times.
