Licensed Practical Nurse - Emergency Room - Full Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will be:

• An active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and work collaboratively in the development, implementation, and revision of each patient’s interdisciplinary treatment plan.
• Observing and evaluating each patient as well as documenting their observations and evaluations.
• Providing the RN with relevant clinical information.
• Using nursing knowledge of medical, surgical, and behavioral health nursing to effectively provide direct patient care, observing, and documenting outcomes
• Providing patient and family education.
• Working collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• EXPERIENCE: 1 year of medical surgical experience preferred
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  • BLS required or obtained within 1 month of hire
  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania
