Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and cardiology procedures.
- Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests such as EKGs and other cardiac procedures.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Previous experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with EMR systems is a plus.
