Position Overview:

Sedgewood Commons is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team on a part-time contract basis. The LPN will play a key role in supporting residents, administering nursing care, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment within a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to supervising RN or provider.

• Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner.

• Support daily activities and collaborate effectively with staff and interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements:

• Active LPN license in the state of Maine.

• Must present a state or federal-issued ID upon arrival and wear a photo badge at all times.

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide documented medical or religious exemption from employer (additional doses required if mandated).

• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
