Licensed Practical Nurse- SUN, MON, TUES

Nurses are hard to find these days due to being OVERWORKED and UNDERVALUED. We are the OPPOSITE, we VALUE our nurses and offer FLEXIBLE scheduling. We are looking for part-time/PRN and full-time LPN's to care for individuals with developmental disabilities in a Medical Group Home setting (6 PATIENTS MAX) located in GOODYEAR AND SURPRISE, AZ. You will work alongside a caregiver to provide quality care for our members in a comfortable and warm home environment. The ideal candidates will be autonomous, self-motivated, patient, friendly, and have excellent communication skills and most of all compassion. Performing routine nursing duties, including:

• Taking a recording vitals.
• Comfort, grooming, and hygiene needs
• Diet management
• Collecting specimens
• Patient activities
• Passing medications
• Reordering medications as needed (or ensuring manager is aware and needs to reorder)
• Safeguard equipment and supplies, and checks equipment apparatus or appliances furnished to resident in the course of treatment.
• Reporting all medical aspects of care and changes in conditions regarding the residents in the home to Program Director.
• Maintaining and ensuring that all documentation is completed before end of shift, which includes but not limited to: incident reports, daily nursing notes, Med Sheets, etc

Qualifications:

1. Clear criminal and central registry background check (Required)

2. At least 18 years of age

3. Valid driver’s license

4. Proficient with the English language (written and verbal)

Education and Experience:

Current Arizona LPN license. One-year licensed work experience preferred. Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and g-tube care a plus. Must have or be willing to obtain Article 9, Prevention and Support, CPR and First Aid certification.

Pay: $32.50 - $35.00 per hour
