Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods when applicable.
  • Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual learning styles.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance childhood development, including toddler care and early intervention strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through observations and standardized testing, adjusting lesson plans to meet diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress updates effectively.
  • Manage classroom logistics to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization in accordance with childcare standards and child welfare guidelines.
  • Incorporate special education techniques to support children with unique learning needs and facilitate inclusive classroom experiences.

Experience

  • Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood education disciplines such as literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and specialists in childhood development.
  • Previous roles involving teaching physical education or implementing lesson plans focused on childhood development milestones. Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
