Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing Ann Arbor team as a 1099 independent contractor. This hybrid opportunity offers the best of both worlds—remote telehealth convenience combined with the meaningful connection of in-person therapy.

This position is well-suited for clinicians who value autonomy, teamwork, and delivering high-quality, client-centered care. You will provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and major life changes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based approaches
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans guided by clinical assessments and client goals
Utilize CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed modalities as appropriate
Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary
Maintain thorough, timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation
Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare providers, and community partners to support coordinated care
Engage in team meetings, peer consultation, and supervision when needed
Offer mentorship or clinical supervision if qualified
Adhere to state and professional ethical standards

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
Active, unrestricted LPC license in Michigan
Strong background in evidence-based therapeutic practices
Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Experience with telehealth preferred
Commitment to ethical, inclusive, culturally responsive care
