Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team In Alliance, Fort Worth on 1099 position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including adult and geriatric patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote mental health and well-being, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

EMDR trained will be preferre.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
• Engage with patients' families to provide education and support regarding mental health issues and treatment options.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid license as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and experience working with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in patient assessment methods and medical documentation practices.
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Experience in social work or related fields is a plus.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care and supporting the mental health needs of individuals across various age groups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
