Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, couples and individuals facing various mental health challenges. The counselor will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies in both individual and couples settings.

Duties

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Provide psychotherapy using various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in their treatment process.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and case management.
• Conduct intake assessments for new clients and provide ongoing patient assessment throughout treatment.
• Engage in clinical research activities to enhance service delivery and therapeutic outcomes.

Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques
• Experience with marriage and couples therapy.
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
• Knowledge of telehealth practices to provide remote counseling services.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with autism, and those facing gender issues.
• Strong skills in patient care, patient assessment, case management, and social work.
• Competence in managing chronic pain counseling cases and providing direct support to clients.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $52,100.57 - $125,000.00 per year
