Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, where you will lead and oversee clinical services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care. This vital role involves supervising licensed counselors and interns, coordinating treatment plans, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties

  • Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed professional counselors and counseling interns, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and ethical practices
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing
  • Deliver individual, group, child & family counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, child development, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and behavior management
  • Manage crisis intervention efforts effectively, including crisis management and crisis response strategies to ensure client safety and stability
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations, utilizing medical terminology for precise record-keeping within electronic medical records systems
  • Coordinate case management activities to connect clients with community resources, special education services, and hospital-based programs when necessary
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health interventions and treatment outcomes to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent with supervisory credentials recognized by state licensing boards
  • Proven experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and diverse populations in clinical settings
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems and ICD coding standards for accurate diagnosis documentation
  • Expertise in therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, social work principles, and trauma-informed care such as PTSD management
  • Experience conducting intake assessments, patient care planning, and medical documentation aligned with HIPAA standards
  • Ability to manage crisis situations efficiently while demonstrating excellent communication skills in high-pressure environments
  • Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes related to psychotherapy services and direct support activities
  • Knowledge of working within hospital or clinical research settings is a plus; familiarity with medical terminology enhances effectiveness in interdisciplinary teams

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
