Overview
The Licensed Psychologist – Psychological Assessment is a clinical position focused on the evaluation, interpretation, and integration of psychological testing data to support accurate diagnosis and clinical clarity. Reporting directly to the Associate Medical Director, this role is designed for psychologists who specialize in assessment work and prefer a structured, sustainable clinical model without ongoing psychotherapy responsibilities. This role is ideal for psychologists who enjoy assessment work and want a structured, sustainable alternative to private practice without long‑term therapy caseloads.

Typical weekly structure:
20–22 assessment‑related sessions (interpretation, feedback sessions)
12–15 hours for report writing (4–5 finalized reports per week)
~5 hours for meetings, coordination, administrative tasks, and breaks
Testing administration and in‑office logistics handled by dedicated psychometrists

Compensation
The pay range for this role is $52.70–$62.50 per hour.
Compensation is hourly and includes time spent on:
Assessment interpretation
Psychological report writing
Feedback sessions
Meetings and required administrative time

Role and Responsibilities
The Licensed Psychologist supports Mindful Paths’ psychological testing services by providing expert diagnostic formulation and feedback.
Assessment Interpretation: Interpret psychological, neuropsychological, and cognitive testing data administered by trained psychometrists.
Diagnostic Formulation: Integrate testing results with clinical interviews, background history, and collateral information to develop accurate diagnoses.
Feedback & Reporting: Deliver clear, compassionate feedback sessions and produce integrated psychological evaluation reports with meaningful recommendations.
Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate with psychometrists, report support staff, and clinical leadership to ensure clinical accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with licensing, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Conduct 20–22 assessment‑related clinical contacts per week, including interpretation and feedback sessions.
12-15 hours per week to support output of 4-5 finalized reports per week
5 hours per week for meetings, administrative tasks, coordination, and breaks.

Required Skills and Competencies
Clinical Expertise: Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and diagnostic formulation.
Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Licensure: Active Massachusetts Psychologist license in good standing.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Technological Proficiency: Comfort working within electronic health records and telehealth systems.
3+ years of post-licensure experience or 4-6 years total clinical experience including postdoc experience.
The pay range for this role is:
57.70 - 62.50 USD per hour(Remote)
