Golden Hour Psychology is a clinician-owned and clinician-run group practice in San Diego, created for psychologists who want to do meaningful work in a supportive, grounded, and flexible environment. We’re building a community of clinicians who value connection, integrity, and growth — and we’re looking for a Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join us.

We welcome both generalists and specialists, and especially those who enjoy working with military and first responder communities, and who might like providing clinical supervision to all disciplines (psychological associates, AMFT, ASW, APCC) in the future.

What You’ll Get

• Compensation: $100 per clinical hour; $125 per supervision hour
• Workstyle: In-office, hybrid, or telehealth options available
• Office Space: our peaceful office is located in Mission Valley
• Schedule: You set your hours — we support your rhythm (no minimum)

Our clinicians focus on care, not paperwork. We handle the logistics so you can focus on therapy, assessment, and leadership. Most psychologists build a full caseload within 6–8 weeks after we complete insurance credentialing and onboarding.

Who You Are

• Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in California
• Open to supervising pre-licensed clinicians and contributing to a learning culture
• Has completed supervision training per BOP/BBS standards (or willing to do so)
• Passionate about providing thoughtful, evidence-based care
• Collaborative, kind, and excited to help shape a growing practice

What You'll Do

• Provide individual therapy, and couples therapy if that suites you
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Supervise and mentor early-career clinicians in a supportive environment
• Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education
