Licensed Psychologist (Contract)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist (Contract) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide expert psychological assessment, therapy, and support to diverse patient populations across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages—including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and improve overall well-being. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing for a wide range of mental health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Supervise clinical staff or trainees as needed, offering guidance on best practices in mental health counseling and patient care.
  • Facilitate intake assessments for new patients, ensuring thorough understanding of presenting issues and appropriate treatment pathways.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to reach patients remotely while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Support patients with diverse needs—including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, disabilities, addiction issues, or geriatrics—delivering tailored therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Psychologist with current certification to practice independently.
  • Proven experience in child & family counseling, working with children, adolescents, or geriatric populations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and hospital-based mental health services.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and behavioral health modalities.
  • Experience conducting psychological testing, diagnostic evaluations, and patient assessments across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Strong background working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disabilities, PTSD care needs, or addiction counseling.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and managing medical records securely within clinical environments.
  • Telehealth experience using secure platforms for remote patient engagement is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and engaging patients empathetically.
