Understanding Minds Psychological Services is seeking a licensed psychologist to grow our team. This remote-optional position is ideal for the psychologist who desires a collaborative and supportive environment in which they can focus on providing excellent clinical care through therapy and/or assessment. Integrated administrative and leadership teams handle all operational, scheduling, billing, and compliance responsibilities. Our administrative team provides comprehensive support, from marketing to therapist matching, scheduling, and billing. You never have to advertise yourself to build your caseload, schedule clients, field or fill cancellations, collect copays and fees, or deal with insurance companies. This creates space for therapists to focus on the parts of your work you value most – without the stress or numerous unpaid hours handling administrative tasks.
Full-time administrative coverage also means that both clients and therapists receive prompt, thoughtful responses to their needs. In addition to taking calls and emails in real time, our administrative staff respond to left messages the same or following day, allowing clients to feel taken care of from the first point of contact and reducing undue burden on providers.
Collaborative and tailored caseload-building combines the best of private practice and agency-based work. Our outpatient setting supports therapists to serve clients who reflect their clinical interests and strengths while still gaining diverse generalist experience. We encourage our staff to pursue specializations that they feel passionate about, without restricting them to specific programs or populations, and offer caseload stability by working to connect therapists with motivated clients who fit their interests and areas of expertise.
