Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD)

About the Job

Pacific Mind Health is seeking an experienced California Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD) to join our expanding outpatient practice throughout Southern California. This position will provide high-quality clinical care at our outpatient clinic in Irvine (3 days per week) and through our telehealth program.

As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral health services alongside psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants (PAs), interventional technicians, and a dedicated clinical support team. This role offers the opportunity to practice in an innovative environment integrating traditional therapy with cutting-edge interventional psychiatry treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy.
  • Utilize evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care) tailored to patient needs.
  • Collaborate closely with prescribing providers to support coordinated care plans.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Quality, Research, & Innovation

  • Champion clinical excellence through adherence to evidence-based practices and outcome-driven care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Stay current with advances in behavioral health, integrative care models, and interventional psychiatry.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and potential research or publication efforts

Community & Patient Advocacy

  • Provide patient education and empower individuals and families in their recovery journey.
  • Represent Pacific Mind Health in community outreach and educational initiatives, when needed.
  • Collaborate with community providers and referral sources to improve continuity of care.
  • Support efforts to expand access to behavioral health services through partnerships and network development.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT or PsyD).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient or integrated care settings preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, mindfulness therapy, and/or brief, solution-oriented/narrative therapy.
  • Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite platform is a plus

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
