Lexington Public Adjusters is a multi-state residential public adjusting firm dedicated to helping homeowners recover the maximum settlement they deserve after property damage. We advocate exclusively for the policyholder - never the insurance company. Our team is growing, and we're looking for driven, licensed professionals to join us in the field.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Sales Solicitor to generate new business by connecting with homeowners who have experienced property damage and educating them on their right to professional claim representation. This is a commission-only role with uncapped earning potential for high performers.

You'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients - knocking doors, building relationships in the community, developing referral networks, and converting leads into signed contracts.

What You'll Do

• Canvass storm-affected and disaster-impacted neighborhoods to identify potential claims
• Conduct on-site consultations with homeowners to assess property damage and explain the public adjusting process
• Educate homeowners on their policy rights and the value of professional representation
• Generate and manage a personal pipeline of prospective clients
• Build and maintain referral relationships with contractors, roofers, restoration companies, and other local professionals
• Represent Lexington Public Adjusters with professionalism and integrity at all times
• Collaborate with the internal claims team to ensure a smooth handoff from signed contract to claim resolution
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as scheduled

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven ability in outside sales, door-to-door canvassing, or business development
• Self-starter mentality - you thrive working independently in the field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned territories
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Smartphone with reliable data/internet access

Preferred:

• Active Public Adjuster License in New Jersey and/or Connecticut (candidates without these licenses will be required to obtain them within 90 days of hire)
• Experience in public adjusting, insurance, roofing, restoration, or a related industry
• Existing network of referral partners (contractors, roofers, restoration companies, real estate professionals)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English or Mandarin/English a plus)
