Licensed Residential Service Electrician (Journeyman License Required)

Job Summary

Ready Eddie Electric is growing and looking to add an experienced Licensed Residential Service Electrician to our team.

We are a locally owned electrical service company serving New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. Our technicians take pride in providing professional, high quality service while delivering excellent customer experiences.

We are looking for a motivated electrician who is confident in troubleshooting residential electrical systems and enjoys working directly with homeowners.

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers to complete installations and diagnostics.
• Work on construction sites, renovation projects, and service calls to address electrical issues efficiently.
• Manage wiring for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits as required.
• Conduct inspections of existing electrical systems to identify hazards or code violations and perform necessary upgrades or repairs.
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services when projects require integrated skills.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and industry standards during every phase of work.

Experience

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• Residential service experience required
• Must have own electrical hand tools
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls
• Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
• Must participate in on call rotation

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
