Licensed Respiratory Therapist (Contract PRN/RT)

ABOUT THE ROLE

UniversalMed Supply has a UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY! Fast-expanding medical supply company needs a licensed PRN Respiratory Therapist to service home ventilator patients in the New Jersey market. We are a 20+ year privately-owned durable medical equipment (DME) company with our Corporate office based in metro Dallas. Our remarkable success in the Dallas market has enabled us to expand across the nation to clinically support the respiratory needs of the ventilator-dependent patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will include initial vent set-ups, helping with initial patient and caregiver instruction of the equipment, and ongoing clinical support to patients in their home care as needed. You will stand as a valuable partner to bridge the gap between patients, their equipment, and the DME supply company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

• At least one year of experience in respiratory therapy

• Familiarity with portable home ventilators, especially the Respironics Trilogy 100 & 200, and CareFusion LTV's.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
