Licensed Therapist (Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor)

BVHC is seeking a licensed clinical social worker or mental health counselor to join our integrated behavioral health services team. The ideal candidate will have comfort making diagnostic and treatment decisions and consulting with other therapists, our psychiatric nurse practitioner, and primary care providers as colleagues to provide mental health and substance use disorder services in a patient-centered primary care setting. Broad-based therapeutic approaches are essential to serve our population. BVHC offers ongoing professional development to encourage building providers' knowledge base and skill set in different modalities. Across our current team, therapists are certified in CBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, sand tray, and more. The team collaborates on complex cases and work together to ensure the client is getting the treatment they need to succeed.

Visits will range from brief intervention to longer counseling engagements. Ability to work with all ages preferred (pediatric and adult). Both part-time and full-time candidates will be considered.

This multi-disciplinary team offers the chance to work collaboratively with other providers as well as a nurse case manager and a community health worker. The community health center approach is unique and supports peer collaboration for patient success and reduced provider burnout. Individual and group supervision is provided weekly. Therapists have 2 administrative hours to every 6 clinical hours.
