Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Behavioral Health

We are seeking to fill the following shift:

• Swing (3 PM to 11 PM)
• Friday & Saturday off

LVN who is responsible for assisting and supporting clients through their treatment experience from admission to discharge.

Mental Health & Addiction Treatment in Malibu, CA

Responsibilities:

• Nursing Assessments and shift notes
• Supervision of client medication self-administration
• Client monitoring
• Vital Signs
• Nursing documentation audits (med room audits, nursing note audit, etc.)
• Documentation and providing of shift report
• Communication with doctors and the clinical team
• Medication counts as required
• Client Rounds

Requirements:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse with the state of California
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check
• 1-year experience with either Substance Abuse & Mental Health Disorders preferred
• Ability to prioritize and perform with minimal direction.
• Computer literate and able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally with clients.
