We are looking for a Private Duty Licensed Vocational Nurses and/or Registered Nurses who are licensed in the state of Texas. We are offering a highly competitive wage to come work with some great people!

Job Summary
The Private Duty Nurse provides personalized nursing care to patients in their home. This role involves working closely with patient to assess his needs, administer treatments, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. The Private Duty Nurse will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient requirements.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and record patient data accurately.
• Assist with airway management and other procedures as required.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Health Trust for documentation and coding purposes.
• Educate patient and family on health management, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patient care.

Skills

• Must have Private Duty experience with Vent and Trach Patients
• Strong knowledge of physiology to understand patients condition effectively.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently.
• Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of individual needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
