Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychotherapy, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans to support clients across diverse populations. Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient monitoring while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in treatment planning and goal setting.
  • Provide specialized counseling for children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and geriatrics.
  • Manage crisis interventions effectively while coordinating with case management teams and community resources.
  • Document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards such as ICD-10/ICD-9 coding.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to support continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice development.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as an LCMHC or LICSW with relevant state certification.
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work, mental health counseling, and crisis management.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, medical records management, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and HIPAA compliance.
  • Strong background working in PHP/IOP settings
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
