Lien Negotiator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Lien Negotiator to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury law and negotiating liens. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple cases, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our clients and attorneys.

Duties

• Is the primary contact for clients, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers
• Follows up on BI, UIM, UM , MP demands and adds initial offers to counters/mins spreadsheet for AK approval
• Saves all correspondence from insurance company and updated CP with updated offers
• Sends settlement emails, follows up on trigger documents when necessary
• Drafts SDS and confirms balances with medical providers
• Handles med pay waiver
• Negotiates the reductions of medical liens, Health insurance subro, Medi-Cal and Medicare
• Assists the with relaying counter offers in the settlement negotiations stage
• Communicates with client the final bet amount and gets the SDS/Release signed.
• Meets with client when clients pick up their check in person
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working as a negotiator of personal injury liens
• Familiar with personal injury
• Familiar with auto insurance policy limits
• Knowledge of medical billing
• Customer Service
• Must be able to type 40 or more WPM

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
