Life and Benefits Associate

Duties

  • Administer and coordinate comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and wellness initiatives.
  • Manage benefits data collection to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support benefits onboarding processes by conducting employee orientation sessions and explaining plan options clearly.
  • Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA, HIPAA, workers' compensation regulations, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Handle inquiries related to benefits administration via multiple communication channels, providing timely and accurate information to employees.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on employee evaluation processes, employee relations issues, and training & development initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.

Experience

  • Strong knowledge of benefits programs including health plans, life insurance policies, Medicare regulations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain benefits concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Data analysis skills for managing large datasets related to benefits enrollment and regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with benefit providers and support employee training & development programs effectively. Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
