REPORTS TO: Facilities Building Ops Field Manager
PAY RANGE: $16.66/hour
Summary/Objective
The custodian will clean and maintain facilities on the campus as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
Responsibilities
-
Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.

Follow specific cleaning protocol as instructed by supervisor.

Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and school cafeteria.

Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room (supply room, custodial room).

Ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked and reports low supply as well as recommend products.

Cleans glass and windows.

Cleans staff offices and bathrooms.

Assists in examining buildings and grounds for safety hazards and reports deficiencies to supervisor.

Ensures building doors are secure and/or unlocked if shift requires.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certification/Licensure
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Prolonged periods standing.

Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Hours and Schedule
Part time: 1-19 hours per week, which includes:
- Schedule to be determined with supervisor prior to start.

Attendance at the following staff meetings may be required for this role: Safety Committee Meetings, All Staff Trainings, recurring meetings as required, and additional meetings as requested.
