LIFEBOAT SERVICE ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for refurbishing, inspecting, and servicing lifeboats, inflatable boats, davits, and fast rescue crafts as part of the company’s marine safety operations.
• Conduct Annual and 5-Yearly Inspections of lifeboats and launching appliances.
• Perform Lifeboat LRRS Replacement (Launch & Recovery Release Systems).
• Carry out Lifeboats & Fast Rescue Boats Maintenance and Repairs
• Conduct Davit & Winch Systems Maintenance and Repairs, including brake testing.
• Conduct Load Testing for LRRS and Lifeboats using approved equipment (water bags, load cells).
• Maintain accurate inspection, service, and certification records per company and class requirements.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• 2-3 year experience in lifeboat and davit system servicing, repair, and load testing within a marine service environment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, and Class regulations related to life-saving appliances.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
