Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant, responsible, and physically fit Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests using our beach facilities. The ideal candidate will be highly observant, trained in emergency response, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Lifeguards play a vital role in preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and promoting a culture of safety. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about water safety, enjoy working outdoors, and can remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Safety and Monitoring:

Continuously monitor swimming and beach areas to ensure guest safety. Enforce all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Emergency Response:

Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies including rescues, injuries, or other incidents. Administer first aid, CPR, or AED use as required.

- Facility Readiness and Cleanliness:

Inspect the beach area, rescue equipment, and safety tools before and after each shift to ensure everything is in excellent working condition. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe beach environment.

- Safety Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure all lifeguard equipment (e.g., rescue tubes, life vests, first aid kits) is properly maintained, stocked, and ready for use.

- Communication and Teamwork:

Work closely with other team members including beach managers, cleaning staff, and security to ensure seamless operations. Report any incidents or safety concerns promptly.

- Guest Engagement and Education:

Provide safety information to guests when needed. Politely remind beachgoers of safety rules and assist them with any general questions or concerns.

- Weather and Environmental Monitoring:

Stay informed of weather and sea conditions to proactively adjust safety measures and alert guests as needed.

- Incident Reporting:

Accurately document any accidents, injuries, or safety violations and submit reports to management in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

-Valid Lifeguard Certification in Qatar (required)

-CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (required)

-Strong swimming skills and physical fitness

-Excellent communication and observation skills

-Ability to stay calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations

-High level of responsibility and attentiveness

-Previous lifeguard experience (beach or poolside)

-Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred:

-Strong English communication skills; Arabic and other languages are a plus.

-Knowledge of local safety regulations and environmental conditions

Work Environment:

This is a physically active, outdoor role requiring extended periods of time in the sun and exposure to various weather and water conditions. Lifeguards must be alert, focused, and ready to act at any moment to ensure the safety of all guests.
