Lift Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced Lift Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe operation, regular maintenance, and timely repair of passenger and service lifts in a hospital environment. The candidate must follow safety standards and respond promptly to breakdowns to ensure uninterrupted services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of lifts
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults in elevators
• Ensure safe and smooth operation of passenger and stretcher lifts
• Attend emergency breakdown calls and restore services promptly
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and AMC providers
• Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory regulations, and hospital SOPs
• Support lift modernization, testing, and certification activities

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Elevator Technology
• Valid lift maintenance license (preferred, as per state norms)

Experience

• 1-5 years experience in lift maintenance
• Prior experience in hospital / high-rise buildings preferred

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electrical panels, control systems, and safety devices
• Experience with passenger, stretcher, and service lifts
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Understanding of safety protocols and emergency rescue procedures

Soft Skills

• Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
• Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency calls
• Good coordination with facility and safety teams
