Liftgate Welder

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Liftgate Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling liftgates and related components that meet strict quality standards and safety regulations.

• Perform MIG & Stick welding on metal and structural components according to schematics
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately fabricate parts and assemblies
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, torch outfit, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble components
• Measure materials precisely with measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
• Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks
• Conduct quality inspections

Requirements

• Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with a focus on metal fabrication or welding
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and rigging gear
• Familiarity with hydrualic and low voltage electrical systems
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
• Ability to operate forklifts safely for material handling within the shop environment

Pay: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour
