Lifting Appointed Person

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years experience as LAP in UAE
• ALDAR approved (Required)

Requirements:

• Plan and oversee all lifting operations in accordance with relevant legislation
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements and lift plans for routine and complex lifting activities.
• Select appropriate lifting equipment and ensure proper inspection and certification.
• Liaise with crane operators, riggers, site supervisors, and engineers to coordinate lifting tasks.
• Ensure that all personnel involved in lifting operations are competent and adequately trained.
• Monitor site lifting operations to ensure compliance with safety procedures and project requirements.
• Report and investigate incidents or near-misses related to lifting operations.
• Maintain documentation for all lifting activities, equipment records, and competency certifications.
• Advise management on lifting safety matters and participate in safety meetings and audits.
