Lifting Inspection Engineers

Job Summary:
The Lifting Inspection Engineer is responsible for inspecting, testing, and certifying lifting equipment to ensure compliance with international safety standards. The role involves both fieldwork and technical reporting to maintain safe lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection, testing, and certification of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, slings, and lifting accessories.
  • Conduct mobile crane inspections in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards such as LOLER, ASME, and BS.
  • Identify defects, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and technical documentation in English.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure safe lifting practices.
  • Participate in field operations and site assessments as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting inspection.
  • LEEA Certification (minimum 3 parts).
  • Mandatory certification in Mobile Crane Inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of international lifting standards (LOLER, ASME, BS, etc.).
  • Good technical reporting and communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to work in field environments.
  • Valid transferable Iqama (for candidates within Saudi Arabia).

2. Senior Lifting Inspection Engineer

Job Summary:
The Senior Lifting Inspection Engineer leads inspection activities, ensuring all lifting equipment meets safety and regulatory requirements. This role includes supervision, advanced technical evaluation, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise lifting inspection activities across projects and sites.
  • Conduct advanced inspection and certification of lifting equipment, including mobile cranes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with LOLER, ASME, BS, and other international standards.
  • Review and approve inspection reports and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and inspectors.
  • Interface with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Investigate incidents related to lifting equipment and recommend preventive measures.
  • Support business development through technical expertise when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in lifting inspection.
  • LEEA Certification (minimum 4 parts).
  • Mandatory certification in Mobile Crane Inspection.
  • Strong expertise in international standards (LOLER, ASME, BS, etc.).
  • Excellent reporting, analytical, and communication skills in English.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Willingness to work on-site and in field conditions.
  • Valid transferable Iqama (for candidates within Saudi Arabia).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
