Lifting Inspector

We are seeking a qualified Lifting Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and verifying lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting safe lifting operations across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, ropes, and accessories, to ensure safe operation.
• Verify valid certifications and inspection records of all lifting equipment.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with HSE procedures, LEEA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions or practices and recommend corrective actions.
• Stop unsafe lifting operations immediately and report incidents as necessary.
• Support accident/incident investigations related to lifting operations and submit detailed reports.
• Ensure proper use of lifting equipment and PPE, and monitor employee/contractor compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, certifications, and follow-up actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 valid LEEA Certificates (required).
• NEBOSH IGC / OSHA or equivalent HSE certification (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in lifting inspections within construction, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, equipment standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills in English.
• Ability to identify hazards, enforce compliance effectively, and promote safe lifting practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
