United Engineering & Contracting Company LLC looking for a Lifting Operations (LEEA-Approved Appointed) in Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced LEEA-Approved Appointed Person for lifting operations to join our project team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring safe execution of all lifting activities in compliance with UAE safety regulations and project requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid LEEA certification (Appointed Person – Lifting Operations).

Minimum 5 years of experience as Appointed Person in lifting operations (preferably in UAE).

Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and lifting standards.

Experience in high-rise / infrastructure projects is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil preferred).

Excellent communication skills in English.

Ability to join immediately is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting operations on site.

Prepare and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements.

Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and project safety standards.

Verify crane certifications, operator competency, and lifting equipment inspection records.

Coordinate with project management, consultants, and safety teams.

Stop unsafe lifting activities and implement corrective actions when required.
