Minimum Requirement for Lifting/Rigging Engineer: Should have a Mechanical Postgraduate Engineering Degree or Equivalent. Should be a qualified chartered Engineer (Degree Holder) and certified by LEEA. Should have 10 years’ experience in Rigging/Lifting Equipment in the Mega oil & gas projects (Onshore & Offshore). Experience certificates Must. Strong knowledge of Qatar Energy standards/codes and RLIC regulations and guidelines. Should have relevant experience in the review and approval of critical Lifts in the oil & gas industry. Develop and review detailed lifting and rigging plans, method statement. Evaluate lifting requirements for cranes, hoists, and rigging based on load, geometry, and site constraints. Select, verify, and ensure certification/inspection status of lifting equipment and accessories. Perform lifting studies, load calculations, and crane capacity checks using engineering software. Prepare lifting drawings, calculations, and sketches for client and authority approvals. Competent with international lifting equipment and standards and codes for performing inspection and certification. Should have strong administrative and supervisory skills to schedule, monitor, and control the lifting equipment and lifting/Rigging operations. Support training and competency verification of rigging crews and operators. Maintain lifting plans, registers, inspection records, and as-built documentation.

Should have valid LEEA and TPCA (valid TUV SUD) Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar and Lifting Analysis Tools

Should have own valid QID (FREELANCER). It should be locally available in Qatar.
