Job Title: Manual Light Bus Driver

Reports To: Transport Supervisor / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Manual Light Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating a manual transmission light bus to transport employees to and from work sites, while ensuring compliance with UAE traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. The driver is responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness, conducting daily inspections, and ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a manual transmission light bus safely and efficiently.
• Transport employees to designated work sites according to the daily schedule.
• Follow all UAE traffic rules and company driving policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tires, lights, battery, and fuel levels.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure passengers wear seat belts where applicable and travel safely.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees.
• Assist with loading and unloading small equipment or materials when required.
• Cooperate with supervisors and dispatch regarding route changes.
• Respond appropriately during emergencies or vehicle breakdowns.
• Ensure all vehicle documents are valid and available in the bus.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Manual Light Bus Driving License.
• Minimum 2–3 years of light bus driving experience in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
• Ability to drive safely in heavy traffic.
• Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).
• Good physical fitness and professional appearance.

Working Conditions

Responsibilities for Safety

• Follow all road safety regulations.
• Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations.
• Ensure passengers are transported safely at all times.
• Wear the required company uniform and PPE when applicable.

• On-time employee transportation.

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience transporting workers for cleaning, pest control, facilities management, or similar service industries.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai, Sharjah, and other UAE road networks.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
