Position Overview

The Light Duty Towing Supervisor oversees the daily operations of all light-duty towing activities across the Tampa Bay branches. This key leadership role is responsible for supervising light-duty drivers and trucks, managing customer accounts, and ensuring efficient and safe branch operations. The Supervisor works closely with the Director of Towing, Light Duty Manager, and Lot Supervisor to coordinate priorities, resolve issues, and maintain high standards for customer service and operational excellence. This is a full-time, salaried position with pay commensurate with prior experience.


Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of all Tampa Bay branch light-duty drivers.
  • Conduct new customer sales and manage current accounts.
  • Work closely with the Director of Towing to complete daily priorities.
  • Monitor employee performance and communicate feedback to the Light Duty Manager.
  • Inventory and maintain supplies for all trucks at assigned branches.
  • Handle damage claims promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate Lot issues to the Lot Supervisor as they arise.
  • Be accessible to all light-duty drivers to provide guidance and support.
  • Focus on cost control and time management, analyzing opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between light-duty drivers and management.
  • Apply problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to generate and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and increase revenue.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant supervisory experience.
  • Prior towing driving experience required.
  • Availability after hours for employee and customer calls.
  • Familiarity with light-duty truck operations.
  • Goal-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and delegation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer applications.

Pay

  • $70,000 to $85,000 yearly / depending on experience
