Light Gauge Steel Engineer (to work in Syria)

We are seeking a highly skilled Light Gauge Steel (LGS) Engineer (Syrian Citizen Preferred) to oversee our LGS design and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural concepts and physical production—utilizing specialized LGS software to design framing systems, generating production-ready shop drawings, and ensuring the workshop outputs meet exact structural and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end production workflow of the LGS roll-forming machinery.
• Convert engineering designs and 3D models into machine-readable CNC files and cutting sheets.
• Supervise workshop fabricators and technicians, ensuring strict adherence to engineering drawings and quality control standards.
• Perform structural checks and material optimization to minimize waste during production.
• Resolve any design discrepancies or technical challenges arising between the design office and the production floor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in Light Gauge Steel (LGS) engineering and design.
• Advanced hands-on experience with LGS design software (FrameCAD Detailer/Structure, Vertex BD, or similar) and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of cold-formed steel design principles, structural load distributions, and local municipality construction regulations.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, strong leadership capabilities, and sharp attention to detail.
