LIGHT VEHICLE DRIVER

Job Summary

A Light Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating 1-ton to 3-ton pickup vehicles for transporting goods, materials, or equipment. The driver must hold a valid light vehicle license with at least 2 years of driving experience and should ensure timely deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 1-ton, 2-ton, and 3-ton pickup vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport goods, materials, or company equipment to assigned destinations.
• Follow all traffic rules, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil level, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and ready for operation.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and fuel records.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of items as per schedule.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid light vehicle driving license.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience driving 1-ton to 3-ton pickup vehicles (preferred).
• Good knowledge of local road routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance.
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting when necessary.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: 1,800 AED per month.
• Accommodation: Provided by the company.
